At Taletrove Box, we understand the value women can add into the society when the right opportunities. Hence, from day one, we are trying to bring more women into our success story. While we work with women-led businesses, our main aim is to provide opportunities to women who have been within the confines of their home all their life. So, when we find women with talents that the world needs to see, we don't hesitate to extend a helping hand.
Crochet Bookmark
In our first ever book box, we included a cute handmade crochet bookmark. The bookmarks were made by Mrs. Sumathi, a housewife of 40+ years. Her crocheting skills were not showcased for decades, and we helped to bring her works to light. When she gave us the completed bookmarks, she shared her immensely gratitude for the opportunity, which warmed our hearts. Her bookmarks were greatly appreciated by every single one who received it with their box. We will continue to work with her in the future.
Prompt Cards
We include a writing prompt card in all our boxes. Every month, the beautiful write-up and prompt question on the card is written by Mrs. Siva Pooja who can bring beautiful thoughts to life with her immense creative mind. Each line highlights the essence of the book and encourages readers to think about issues that need to be discussed more by the society.
We also aim to feature books by both men and women, ensuring a balanced representation of voices and perspectives. Reading stories from different people and different perspectives widens the mind, and we try to be such a platform for all readers.
Whether it is showcasing books written by women, or crafting bookmarks and merchandise, we will continue to support women. We will continue to search for women who have hidden talents and we will provide opportunities to them. We can confidently say – This is just the beginning.
